5/3/2023 0 Comments Tabby kittens behaviorLike all cat breeds, purebred or mixed, the Mackerel Tabby Cat will need sufficient exercise or at least time to play around and explore. You’ll have fewer frequent trips to the vet if you focus on good food habits for your cat. Most pet owners prefer organic food and they also set proper scheduling to avoid weight issues and the like. While domestic or mixed breed cats aren’t very picky with human food, they’ll get more nutrients from the food that’s specifically tailored to them.Ī Mackerel Tabby Cat will live longer if you give them quality food. What are you feeding your cat? There’s a big difference between feeding them with quality food that’s appropriate for their age and other factors and feeding them with random grocery store food (or even human leftovers). ![]() So, how long does a Mackerel Tabby Cat live? Well, like most tabby cats, they will live between 15 and 20 years old depending on the following factors: Diet In some cases, the cat may also have much darker stripes so it’s more akin to a zebra-like design, which might also remind you of the Classic Tabby Cat. SilverĪlso known as a light gray cat, the Silver Mackerel Tabby has a cooler tone than the Blue variation with a much lighter shade. To get a Red Tabby Cat, a Red father is usually paired with a Calico or Tortoiseshell mother. Regarding their color, red genes are usually inherited if they have the red color gen O codes, which produce phaeomelanin. These cats are quite common among Domestic Shorthairs. Oftentimes, the Red Mackerel Tabby can also be called an Orange Tabby due to its color combination. The color is like a coffee shade for the darker lines and cream or tan shade for the rest of the body, giving off a Garfield-like design. The Red Mackerel Tabby is yet another common color among pet owners who take and rescue cats from being strays. Cream Mackerel Tabbies are not that common due to the lightness of their coat as you’ll most likely encounter more cats with a darker shade of orange instead. The Cream Mackerel Tabby has a light orange design, which makes it look like a regular Domestic Shorthair with light orange color. Brown Mackerel Tabbies also usually have a dark end color for their tail. The brown shade may also look like bronze at some point because it is a combination of dark brown (that resembles black) and light brown (which is kind of like cream or tan). ![]() It’s easy to spot them because of their frequency in a clowder (a group of cats). The Brown Mackerel Tabby is probably one of the most common colors that you’ll see in the streets. This color might be a bit confusing to describe, but it does exist as a Mackerel Tabby color out there. Technically, breeders call them “blue” despite the gray color appearance. Sometimes called a Gray Mackerel Tabby Cat, this coat has a mix of light gray and dark with slight hints of cream and tan on their undercoat. The Mackerel Tabby Cat often comes in these prominent colors: Blue So, how do you know if you have a Mackerel Tabby Cat? Well, the chances of having this cat are very likely since they are quite common and are seen in a variety of breeds (not just mixed breeds or shorthairs). You’ll also see the M-shaped markings on the forehead of the cat. The patterns may come in various colors and some of them might be a bit darker than others. This coat pattern is characterized by a fishbone design due to its stripes, which is the raison d’être for its name. Mackerel Tabby Cats aren’t exactly a breed – they’re a coat pattern that’s commonly found in the Domestic Shorthair (also known as puspin in the Philippines or moggies in the UK). However, chances are almost certain that there’s a tabby for any type of family, including those with children and other pets. You may find an association between cats and fish – the Mackerel Tabby Cat is, surprisingly, one of them, due to how they’re named. Tabbies can easily be identified by their sweet nature and the legendary capital 'M' on their furry forehead.īecause many different breeds of cats sport the tabby coat, it's hard to generalize about their personalities. Brown mackerel markings are most frequently seen. Their coats have one dominant color and stripes in the brown and black color families. Tabbies are known for their stripes, swirls and spots, making up one of seemingly infinite color and pattern combinations. ![]() To make things even more interesting, there are five types of Tabby markings: classic, mackerel, spotted, ticked and patched. In fact, every feline has the tabby gene, but it does not present in the coat of every cat. When asked what breed their striped cat is, many people reply with "Tabby." However, like many common cat monikers (Tuxedo, Tortoiseshell, Calico, etc.) "Tabby" refers to the coat pattern, not a specific breed of cat.

5/3/2023 0 Comments Define blasphemousSuch mockery constituted infidelity ( kufr ) after professing faith ( īm ān ) and invalidated whatever good deeds they might have previously performed (5:5). Within the early Islamic community itself, the "hypocrites" ( mun āfiq ūn ) uttered blasphemous jests about God and the Prophet (9:65 –66). As a rejection of divine lordship, this saying is usually considered to be the height of blasphemy. The Qur ʾ ān stresses the opposition that previous prophets experienced, as in the notable case of the pharaoh who called the revelation to Moses a lie, saying, "I am your highest Lord" (79:24). The followers of Mu ḥammad who killed two poets who had written satires on the Prophet evidently considered this kind of mockery to be blasphemy. Among Mu ḥammad's opponents the Qur ʾ ān ( s ūrah 111) singles out Ab ū Lahab above all as destined to punishment in hellfire according to traditional accounts, the Qur ʾ ān turns back on Ab ū Lahab the very words that he had used to curse Mu ḥammad. Insult to the Prophet was particularly blasphemous, since Mu ḥammad was the chief medium of that revelation. From the beginning, as the Qur ʾ ān attests, the blasphemous language of the Prophet's opponents thus consisted of calling divine revelation a lie ( takdh īb ). Mu ḥammad's opponents, moreover, mocked his claim to be an inspired prophet and accused him variously of being possessed, a soothsayer, a magician, a poet, or an unscrupulous power-seeker. Most frequently, this opposition took the form of verbal disputes and abuse, by which the pagan leaders rejected and ridiculed the Qur ʾanic teachings on the unity of God and the resurrection. ah 10/632 ce) encountered strong opposition from the leaders of the Arab clans of Mecca when he preached the worship of the one God and attacked the traditional polytheism of the Arabs. Blasphemy in Early Islamĭuring his own lifetime, the prophet Mu ḥammad (d. Thus, in describing the Islamic concept of blasphemy, it is necessary to include not only insulting language directed at God, the Prophet, and the revelation, but also theological positions and even mystical aphorisms that have come under suspicion. ![]() Blasphemy can also be seen as the equivalent of heresy ( zandaqah ), a pre-Islamic Persian term used in reference to the revolutionary teachings of Mani and Mazdak in this sense, it can mean any public expression of teachings deemed dangerous to the state. ![]() In theological terms, blasphemy often overlaps with infidelity ( kufr ), which is the deliberate rejection of God and revelation in this sense, expressing religious opinions at variance with standard Islamic views could easily be looked upon as blasphemous. ![]() ![]() From the viewpoint of Islamic law, blasphemy may be defined as any verbal expression that gives grounds for suspicion of apostasy ( riddah ). There is no exact equivalent to blasphemy in the Islamic tradition, although the Qur ʾanic phrase "word of infidelity" ( kalimat al-kufr ) comes fairly close. In the Christian tradition, blasphemy properly denotes mockery or l èse majest é of God. Offering insult ( sabb ) to God, to the prophet Mu ḥammad, or to any part of the divine revelation is a crime in Islamic religious law, fully comparable to blasphemy. 5/3/2023 0 Comments Valletta watchesThe property essentially retains its skyline and form from the 16th century, reflecting the natural topography of the peninsula however, this is vulnerable to development pressures resulting in the increase of building heights, which is not always consistent with the city’s historic profile. ![]() The majority of studies attempting to find the correlation between personality and musical preferences administered questionnaires to measure both traits. Various questionnaires have been created to both measure the big five personality traits and musical preferences. However, the investigation into this relationship between the influence of personality on music preference remains ongoing despite these genre-based limitations in methodology and past discrepancies in research results. ![]() Ultimately, only two consistent associations between genres and sub-genres were found, calling into question the reliability of musical genres in research. Enjoying one genre or sub-genre within a broader genre category often failed to consistently predict ratings for related genres and sub-genres with another related genre or sub-genre. Results indicated a high degree of variance between participant genre and sub-genre preferences. For example, electronic music is considered a genre and house music is a sub-genre of electronic music. In a study conducted by Brisson and Bianchi (2021), participants were provided a musical taste inventory and asked to rate their musical genre and sub-genre preferences. One shortcoming in attempting to establish a predictive relationship between music and personality is likely a result of researchers' tendency to utilize overly homogenized musical genres, failing to account for the variance within musical genres. In terms of derived metrics, emotional stability had a negative correlation with the listener's skip rate, and openness had a positive correlation with their song discovery rate. Openness had a positive correlation with Atmospheric, Reggae, and Folk music, while conscientiousness had a negative correlation with Rock and "Energizing" songs such as " Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Results showed an increase in correlation. ![]() In a study conducted in 2020, researchers analyzed data from Spotify users and mapped the Big Five personality traits to different genres, moods, and derived metrics such as the number of playlists, diversity in song choice, and repetition of listening habits. Recent research has used data from music streaming sites instead of self-reported data to show that music genres and the user's listening habits can be used to predict the Big Five personality traits. The vast majority of the correlation coefficients were almost zero. Openness to experience was found to have the strongest correlation with a preference for three musical styles however, this correlation was still relatively minor. A meta-analysis conducted by Schäfer and Mehlorn, (2017) of previous studies trying to determine if experience seeking or any of the Big-Five personality traits predicted musical preferences revealed that the correlation coefficient between music genre and personality traits possessed a magnitude greater than 0.1 in only 6 out of the 30 studies they reviewed. The relationship between musical preference and personality has remained a long-standing topic of contention for researchers due to the variability in results and the low-predictive power that personality has historically demonstrated on music preferences. Personality and music preference Personality These studies are not limited to American culture, as they have been conducted with significant results in countries all over the world, including Japan, Germany, Spain, and Brazil. Numerous studies have been conducted to show that individual personality can have an effect on music preference, mostly using personality, though a recent meta-analysis has shown that personality in itself explains little variance in music preferences. Music training has been shown to help improve intellectual development and ability, though no connection has been found as to how it affects emotion regulation. Music is heard by people daily in many parts of the world, and affects people in various ways from emotion regulation to cognitive development, along with providing a means for self-expression. The psychology of music preference is the study of the psychological factors behind peoples' different music preferences. |
